Tolmie State Park

We had decided we were going to go hiking up in the Olympics on Saturday but it was raining a lot in the morning so we decided to head out to Tolmie State Park instead since it's a lot closer and it wouldn't matter if we didn't last long in the rain. Once we got there it had stopped raining and the sun eventually came out. It was so nice and I'm so glad we went. We hung out on the beach flipping over rocks and finding little crabs and other sea life. Then we headed up the trail for our hike. I don't think the kids have ever been on such a fun hike. The mud was awesome! Beren and Asher fell in a little creek (I'm pretty sure it was on purpose). And Beren found a salamander. I made the kids strip down to get in the car...didn't get a picture of that but should have :)

Yep, that's Calvin in the pink. Our little neighbor told him she loved his outfit b/c it was her favorite color. We did give him a manly hat...

that we'd have the same number of kids in the bath as my parents did. I always thought that was sick and wrong....ahhh sigh. There might even be one picture of me, Ann, Jared, Corinne and Lance in the bath. But I'm not sure about that.
