Ties

Asher was in charge of the lesson for FHE a while back and decided to teach us how to tie a tie. (We generally let the boys choose the lesson they want to give when it's their night. Last week Beren taught us all about cat fish. Bart even helped him make a power point :)

Asher's Birthday

The friendly UW gardener asked Asher to help mow the lawn. Asher was so surprised and excited...it was probably the highlight of his birthday.

Asher asked for a hulk cake. It took me forever to decide how to do it, whether to have his whole body, upper torso or just his face. Asher really liked it. I think it kind of looks like a green frankenstien and bart wondered how he got a tumor on the side of his neck :)

Just Asher and some neighbor friends. It's really nice living so close to so many kids my kids' age. And I mean close they live within 200 feet!

Mohawk

Ok, it's not a real mohawk but it's kind of close. His hair has been like this since he was born. It kind of reminds me of a little fuzzy duckling. He loves the swing that he's sitting in. He spends a lot of the day in there.

Asher's new hair cut

Asher was at a friend's house and they went to the bathroom to cut eachother's hair while their mom thought they were playing. He's really sad b/c he didn't want his picture taken. He had no problem with the new style.

Bart cut his hair like an old man...and then we (and a neighbor) convinced him to keep it like that for a while.

It was pretty hard looking at him b/c he really did look awful. The old man style only lasted for two days but it was pretty sweet. So now his hair is all the same length...I just didn't get a picture of that.

Just chillin'

My sister, Ann, made a bunch of super cool onesies for him. This one has a copy of the album art cover for the Halo Benders which is basically the band, Built to Spill, with Calvin Johnson, whom we could say he's named after...
She also made some with Darth Vader, Yoda, the K record logo and many more!!

Asher's graduation

I know it's pretty silly to have a graduation for preschool but Asher was pretty proud of himself and we got to listen to some really cute songs.
